Editorial summary

Booth and collaborators present a 531.37 Mb chromosome-level genome assembly for a female Tachyporus hypnorum from England. The assembly places 63.74% of the sequence in 13 chromosomal pseudomolecules, includes the X chromosome and a 19.75 kb mitochondrial genome, and releases the underlying data through the Darwin Tree of Life project.
